Google Calendar is a great tool from Google that allows you to create and manage calendar events. It’s sleek and easy to use. It’s also very versatile, allowing you to share calendars, embed them and even access them from anywhere in the world. Here are just a few simple steps to help you make the most of this amazing service.
1. Start by signing up to a free Google Account. If you already have one, that’s great! Just sign in.

2. Once
step 1 is done simply go into the
Google.com and click
more/Calendar;
3. You’ll now be presented with your Google Calendar (Unless you’re not signed into you Google Account);
You can now start adding events. Simply click onto a time-slot and fill in the details on the pop-up box. Hit enter or Create event and that’s it. You can re-arrange events by dragging and dropping into the desired time-slot. You can change the view mode;
You can create and delete new calendars (distinguish them with different colours);
Another great trick is to drag the bottom section of an event to extend or shorten it’s length;
These are just a few of many little features you can use in Google Calendar. Have a look around and you’ll get the hang of it. Remember you can always undo actions.
4. Since Google Calendar is on the web or
‘The Cloud’ you can use it from anywhere (as long as you have an active internet connection)! Simple to to
google.com/calendar and login using you’re Google Account. From there it’s the same old thing. You can change things around and when you login again from elsewhere, everything will be just as you left it.
